Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Cincinnati Reds right-hander Johnny Cueto left during the fourth inning of Wednesday's game against the Cubs with a back injury. Cueto pitched 3 2/3 shutout innings before he was pulled because of a strained right lat muscle. He gave up three hits and a walk, striking out two and lowering his earned run average to a major league-low 2.31 for the season. Sam LeCure replaced him on the mound.
